I received an e-mail today from the fellow who is the training coordinator at the Metro South MSPCA now. The Animal Rescue Site is running a special contest – the shelter in each state that receives the most votes receives a $1,000 grant. The shelter that receives the most clicks – period – receives a $25,000 grant. Voting continues until December 14th.

I am voting daily for Jake's shelter, Aryes Memorial Shelter, in Sprakers, NY. It is a wonderful no-kill shelter that cherishes seniors as well as all creatures.
