This weekend I realized that less than a year ago Bug was afraid of jump bars that were laying on the ground .... alone, no stanchions, nada .... just jump bars. This year, while it might have been a bit early, he was entered in his first trial! Wow. What a difference. Bug is feeling a million times better. I can tell because he has been sitting pretty, jumping up on me, hopping in the bed, playing like mad, and being a wee little pest. Hooray! What a difference from a few weeks ago when his abdominal muscles spasmed when you touched them.
Time, patience, and a little elbow grease can do a world of good.

thanks for posting the link to the photos. It's really funny-there's a pic of Spot going over a jump and he's jumping way higher than necessary, but he looks just like a painting a friend of mine did of him flying through the air. It's like a Spuerman pose or something.
