Holiday Exchange

Janet at Simple Things has organized a holiday ornament exchange between the Cardi bloggers. VERY COOL!! I received the name of who I will play "Cardi Claus" for on Monday and I cannot wait to find the perfect ornament to send.

I am headed to the Thanksgiving Cluster this Friday and hope to spy a cool ornament!

Hope you found a nice ornament for your exchange! Did you think this years show was MUCH smaller than previous years?? I was surprised to find the building inbetween the mallory (agility) and better living (main conformation) only had about 3 vendors!!! Even the exibitors seemed down; I went on saturday. I had a good time, but was just really surprised...what did you think??
take care!

Hi Heidi, I was also really surprised - and disappointed. I don't think the agility trial filled - which is unusual. And there did seem to be WAY fewer vendors. I thought I would be doing lots of shopping. Instead I bought lots of stuff from Bravo! No ornament was found - BUT I ordered one online and got something to send along for the pups from Bravo!

Vendor fees at all Eastern States dog shows increased dramatically for 2009. I spoke to a vendor about it at an earlier show this year.

I didn't even realize the Young building -had- any vendors (I never had a reason to go in there). I'm regretting not spending more at the Bravo tent. :P

Vendor fees are astronomical at the Cluster - that is part of the reason Frank won't shoot there any more (along with the dust in Mallory)...

Trial didn't fill - I was done by noon both Friday and Sunday (I didn't enter Sat or Mon). Bette Q'd both days so I had to hang around Sunday to get her ribbon (they are few and far between so we take them when we get them :-)

I did pick up a glass pendant from Glassical Canines of a cardi...treat to myself for a change!
