Yum say the Boyz!

Bug has 1 point to finish. In order to do so I have to put some weight on him. He has already gained 2 pounds. I think if he gains 3 - 4 more he will be heavy enough for the breed ring. This means he will not be doing any agility or herding this year once he is done with physical therapy. I will not work him heavy and risk re-injuring him.

He is signed up for a Control Unleashed class in July and I will probably put him in either a Rally class or a Noseworks class (he loved the workshop we did).

Our next show is the beginning of July. I decided to try the infamous Satin Balls to add some weight. Kerry, Bug's handler, sent me a link to her favorite recipe (maybe they are all the same, I don't know). Bug is allergic to beef so I substituted ground pork. I might do lamb at a later date.

The boys got to lick the bowl ....
and they thought that was a wonderful treat!

Gosh when I look at Bug I dont see a thin dog, but maybe its the angle of the photo. However, I have a feeling he is not going to object to getting more to eat! Enjoy Buggie and be sure to share a little with Ikey too.

I think it is the angle. He has a very distinct tuck after his ribs. The physical therapist still thinks he is skinny, but I think he is a bit chunky. I like to feel each rib!

Fortunately his coat is coming in which also gives the illusion of more weight.

He will LOVE his extra food, I am sure. Boy will he be sad when he finishes and goes on a diet! ;-)

Lizzie has been on a diet and thinks she wants to trade places with Bug now for sure! She is very jealous of that yummy looking feast!

I was thinking about taking the Control Unleashed class in July/August but I have a few conflicts and at this point it's probably too late. Might have signed up sooner if I knew you were in it!

Have fun at the CU class! Iris thinks Bug's dinner looks delicious. She's not pleased with being on a diet.
