Normal Thyroid

I received Bug's thyroid results late last night from Hemopet - NORMAL! This is great news, although it does mean I am STILL not sure what has been going on with him.

I will talk to the vet, but at this point I believe I will treat him homeopathically rather than wasting time and energy on diagnostics that are not giving us an answer.

Do make sure to take a look at the results yourself, including what they are calling "normal" range. Sometimes, a "normal" result near one end or the other of the spectrum is actually producing symptoms, despite not being out of bounds.

Agreed. One of the nice things about using Hemopet is Dr. Dodds sends you the results directly. Bug's results are right in the middle across the range.

Good to know. A lot of people take a doctor or vet's word for the test results, and don't bother to question it. After having thyroid disease that went undiagnosed for over 2 years because of technically "normal" results, I now require my doctor to give me a copy of all lab reports.

Hopefully treating homeopathically will work out and get some improvement.

Hummm, how interesting, glad the thyroid is normal and glad you used hemopet so you can feel good about the results and knowing they tested the full panel. I hope what ever is going on is just one of those things that sort of resolves itself with the things you are doing to support his health
